Join Nancy for an afternoon learning how to make delightful patterns and small works of art with alcohol inks on ceramic tiles. Tiles, inks and all supplies are provided for this 3-hour fun and relaxing creative experience. You will learn the basic strategies of creating your personal tiles in this bright, fluid medium. From beginner to advanced, you will enjoy expressing your personal visions!
Nancy Christy-Moore, an internationally recognized, award-winning painter, brings the joy of color, energy and movement to her abstract mixed water media paintings. Educated at Columbia College in Columbia, Missouri, the American Academy of Art in Chicago, and Art Center College of Design in Los Angeles, she has taught and exhibited her work for the past thirty-plus years.
Nancy has held over 20 solo exhibits, with two in Japan over the past 37 years. She was cover artist featured in the 2011 Summer Edition of Horses in Art magazine and in 2012 was selected Official Artist for the Menlo Charity Horse Show in Menlo Park, CA. In 2013 the Institute of Equine Artists made Nancy a Signature Member. She became a Master Member in 2016. Currently, Nancy teaches workshops and conducts demonstrations using her “inner painting” techniques and fundamentals of alcohol inks on tiles.
Class is limited to 15 students.
There are no refunds for this workshop. You may use your fee toward a private class in Nancy’s Surprise Studio at a future date that is mutually agreeable.
